About Us
Bare Tech is a small family run business with a vast amount of knowledge and skills developed over the last 20 years in the electronics repair industry. Having also worked in the electronics manufacturing sector, we are well equipped to handle anything that we come across and repair down to component level, replacing individual components rather than swapping complete circuit boards, saving you money whilst still using genuine manufacturer parts. Our IPC trained staff are able to perform repairs to internationally recognised standards to ensure to longevity of your equipment. We stock most common parts for a range of products to enable same / next day repairs and have suppliers on hand for a quick turnaround when we don't have a part in stock, meaning you get your equipment back quickly, unlike some service centres where it can sit on a shelf for months while they wait for back ordered replacement circuit boards from the factory.
Once we receive your equipment for repair, we will diagnose the faults and give you an estimate for the work that is required before we proceed with the repair. For repairs that don't require diagnosis, such as a service or simple replacement of parts, a set price will be given at the start. We will contact you the moment the repair has been completed. We can provide collection and delivery of equipment at a small cost to cover expenses. Feel free to call in without an appointment if you are passing by, but be aware, we may be out on a delivery / collection, so its best to contact us first, especially if you are travelling far.
Bare Tech gets its name from the village "Bare" in Morecambe. This is where we began carrying out repairs, 20 years ago. We are now situated on White Lund between Morecambe and Lancaster and close to the Bay Gateway for quick and easy access from the M6 motorway.
We offer a range of services such as Decks / Mixer / Controller service packages, replacement parts to fix broken link ports, headphone jacks, stuck buttons, glitchy faders & modifications (vinyl wrapping, jog skins, LED colour changes) as well as repairs due to liquid spillage, no power, flashing light power failure. See our services page for more details.
